Strike Out Cancer
This past weekend we got together a majority of the group that will make up the ’15 K-Cancer Baseball Team, along with a few additional players, and competed in an All Star Championship tournament in West Chicago. Crazy good team (not to mention great kids)! Ten run ruled the competition the last three games to take the tourney! 2015 should be a summer to remember!
Exciting stuff last week. We had our first Board Meeting for K Cancer Baseball NFP. The Youth Advisory Board met to hammer out the rough draft of The Articles of Incorporation. 2 hours flew by! Great work by all of the young men. We had great participation and back and forth input from everyone. I am looking forward to seeing where these community minded young Entrepreneurs will take this!
